The Design Work of Facing Pads — An Important Element of Frontal Frame for Marine Fender Systems
1. Type
There are two types of Facing Pads: One is flat pad, the other one is corner pad, which are assembled as shown in the right figure.

3. Material
Generally, the Facing Pads are made of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) or Nylon Resin whose performance are shown in the following tables.
